Production Planning, Operations Analytics and MRP Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Production Planning, Operations Analytics and MRP Coordinator will coordinate production scheduling, long range planning and be the primary configuration manager for the shop MRP functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Utilizes Tekla EPM to create labor reporting and compile daily efficiency report and cumulative monthly report.
• Reconciles estimated & planned hours for each job through Tekla reporting.
• Creates long range and daily production schedules based on jobs and man hours available utilizing Excel spreadsheet or other tools to sequence jobs based on demand and capacity.
• Reviews and adjusts long range and daily production schedules monthly.
• Provides the documentation needed for the shop to start and finish jobs:
  • Utilizes Tekla to create the pick orders
  • Utilizes Tekla to generate labels/ID tags that go on the finished goods to be fabricated
• Utilizes Tekla to close out jobs reconcile that all fabricated parts are in there and that all raw material was picked/consumed. Verifies and closes out all work orders.
• Works with other members of management in production environment to recommend changes to estimating standards.
• Look at data and look for variances
• Determine continuous improvement opportunities
• Regular attendance

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE   Associates degree or higher and applicable work experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Strong background

REASONING ABILITY   Judgments should reflect sound reasoning

PHYSICAL DEMANDS     General office duties.

WORK ENVIRONMENT   This job operates in an office environment and production floor.
